With careful planning and execution, the 250t steam powered crane barge was first berthed at Neptune Energy Park but then transferred to Swans Energy Park wet dock. This operation was one of the first decommissioning projects under Shepherd Offshores control over Swans Energy Park’s wet dock.
The job over all was extremely efficient and safe as the barge was decommissioned in a controlled manner.
Shepherd Offshore worked very closely with O’Brien’s to ensure a consistent high standard of work was maintained and that health and safety was a no. 1 priority.
Shepherd Offshore are extremely happy to report that this operation was completed without any environmental issues.
