Mitford Personnel host Charity Shoot in partnership with McMillan:
Unfortunately, a close friend of Shepherd Offshore and Mitford, Trevor Morris, who helped us out over many many years, sadly lost his fight with cancer earlier this year.
The Mitford Estate comprises 5,000 acres of rural real estate specialising in farming and shooting activities and has run pheasant shooting since 1993 with a full-time complement of keepers working throughout the year. A number of birds are reared and release pens are situated throughout the Estate.
With this being so close to home, Mitford personnel organised and held a charity day for Trevor. Trevor had been part of the picking-up team on shoot days for many years, and it was fitting that estate staff and beaters/ pickers-up, held a clay shoot with all proceeds going to McMillan.
An amazing £1000 was raised in just four hours with the Mitford Estate providing the clays and venue. Mitford was overwhelmed by the generosity of the staff and attendees who helped give up their time and participated giving more than they asked for which was a credit to Trevor and the great work the charity supports.
Shepherd Offshore gives our sincerest condolences to Trevor and his family and friends and is proud of Mitford and all the people who contributed and added to this commemorative day.
