Shepherd Offshore & Ports Represented the North East at WindEnergy Hamburg 2024
North East England – The UK’s Most Advanced Offshore Wind Cluster
Looking back to WindEnergy Hamburg in September, this was an undeniable success for Shepherd Offshore and the North East ports. It was a privilege to stand alongside the region’s other world-class ports, collectively showcasing the cutting-edge solutions we offer to the offshore energy, port infrastructure, and industrial development sectors. This global platform not only highlighted the capabilities of our Neptune & Swans Energy Parks but also positioned them as key components of the UK’s most advanced offshore wind cluster. It was great to be accompanied by representatives from Port of Tyne, Port of Blyth, Port of Sunderland, North Tyneside Council and Advance Northumberland.
The event which attracted more than 40,000 attendees from 100 countries, facilitated countless high-level discussions with innovators and industry leaders, opening the door to collaborative opportunities that can help propel the energy transition. From exploring how we can optimise port infrastructure for the next generation of offshore wind developments, to identifying synergies in industrial support services, the meetings provided valuable insights into future trends and needs within the offshore energy sector.
Shepherd Offshore now look forward to following up on these conversations, nurturing the relationships we built, and continuing to be at the forefront of innovation in offshore energy and industrial development.
