Shepherd Offshore Strengthens Industry Connections at WindEnergy Hamburg 2026
The Shepherd Offshore team has returned from a highly successful WindEnergy Hamburg 2026, having spent several days engaging with industry leaders, developers, manufacturers and supply chain partners from across the global offshore wind sector.
Representing the North East of England on the Invest North East England and Tees Valley Combined Authority stand, Shepherd Offshore was proud to be part of the region’s collaborative presence at one of the world’s leading renewable energy events.
Seeing regional companies, ports, local authorities and industry organisations come together to promote the North East’s world-class capabilities in offshore wind, advanced manufacturing and clean energy was brilliant to see. This collaborative approach demonstrated the strength of the North East energy cluster and reinforced the region’s position as a key hub for the development, deployment and long-term support of offshore renewable energy projects.
Throughout the exhibition, the team held productive discussions with businesses operating in the offshore wind, renewable energy and wider industrial sectors, showcasing the opportunities available across Shepherd Offshore’s strategically located advanced manufacturing sites on the River Tyne. As the offshore wind industry continues to expand across the UK and internationally, Shepherd Offshore remains committed to providing the infrastructure, development land and specialist port facilities required to support the sector’s future growth.
