Chairman, Bruce Shepherd attended the business lunch arranged by Newcastle NE1 Limited as part of the visit of the US Ambassador K Robert Wood Johnson on Monday January 15th 2018.
Among the other attendees were: Haani Ul Hasnain, UK Executive Chairman of British-American Project, John McCabe, President of the North East Chamber of Commerce and Tariq Albassam, Head of Operations Newcastle NE1 Limited.
This was organised as part of NE1’s interest in establishing what scope exists to further foster business connections and investment opportunities between Newcastle and USA whilst building on existing relationships in order to highlight further opportunities, trade, knowledge transfer and learning. Therefore strengthening links between the USA and Newcastle and helping to build on friendships, co-operation and engagement.
