Shepherd Offshore Comments:

"In a project involving 3 separate scopes where aspects change with each shift. A total of 15 reels (heaviest at 328 tons) and 40 crates (5 tons each) were successfully transferred, loaded and sea fastened onto the BBC Ruby.

It was great to see the team and third parties come together to complete this scope. From lashing over 176 lengths onto the reels a week prior to arrival as part of the sea fastening solution. To then loading the 15 reels and keeping within a tight schedule, and providing night shifts to execute custom welding and hot works. The best safety and security were provided with extra precautions and checks due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Job well done to all involved for this as a high standard was achieved in transfer, loading and sea fastening efficiently and effectively with a safe pro-active approach."
