Mitford Estate Tree Planting Commitment

Since 2004, Shepherd Offshore has begun a large scale programme of restoration to the Mitford Estate, most notably of the Mitford Castle ruins in partnership with English Heritage.

After creating two new woods in 2018, in March 2019 we committed to creating more woodland on the Estate and we are now happy to announce that over 12,000 out of 19,000 trees have been planted so far, to further enrich the local landscape and help reduce carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
